I am James Michael Grady, and I am twenty-eight years old. I grew up here, but moved to Austin ten years ago. I spent time learning to build computers, troubleshooting hardware and software, and basically gaining all the knowledge I could so I could get into the computer industry. I worked in tech support for a few years, made my way up to the evening manager over a group of very intelligent men and women, and at that time I was pretty satisfied with myself. I was also a part of the Dot-Bomb crowd when my company lost it’s funding, I went to the pink slip-parties, countless job interviews, and finally to a college counselor at Texas A&M in Kingsville. I spent a few years there, started teaching labs in the physics department and working as a research assistant. Recently though, my father has had some serious health problems. I decided to move back so I could help around the house, give my father a ride to his countless doctor visits, and meanwhile pick up an associates in CIS here at Panola College.
